The Family Resource Center

We have classes and services that help families grow stronger.

They include:

  • parent education classes
  • instruction for persons learning English
  • preparation for the US citizenship exam
  • life skills classes
  • parent support groups for parents of all ages
  • physical fitness activities
  • cultural events and celebrations

Our Teens As Parents Program work collaboratively with under-served youth, ages 12-24, who are pregnant or parenting.

Our Baby Shoppe provides new and gently used baby and toddler clothing, available to anyone in need. We also offer free diapers to registered participants. (Diaper quantities and sizes vary based on availability)

The Atlantic Street Family Resource Center has a Family Advocate, who counsels and helps families with challenges they may be facing. Families are encouraged to help with planning services so that the activities offered can best meet participants’ needs.

The Atlantic Street Family Center is founded on the Principles of Family Support Practice developed by Family Support America.
