Gender-Based Violence Support at Atlantic Street Center

Survivors of gender-based violence deserve support and empowerment. GBV can affect anybody regardless of their background, and many survivors face it in isolation. Atlantic Street Center aims to provide survivor-focused, trauma-informed care to those in our community who are experiencing violence.

Gender-Based Violence is rooted in structural inequalities amid gender identities and is characterized by the abuse of physical, emotional, or financial power and control. Anytime anyone does not conform to what’s expected of their gender, they run the risk of being targets of violence.

Here at ASC, our program will provide advocacy, therapeutic, and housing services to assist survivors in navigating systems, accessing resources, increasing independent life skills and strengthening networks necessary to work towards safety and stability.

We serve victims/survivors of gender-based violence (domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or commercial sexual exploitation) in King County. Our services are available in English and Spanish.
