Finding stable employment can be a major challenge for members of our community, who may not have had equality of access to education or the resources at home to compete in the dense and specialized job market currently dominating our region.
The Family Support Program holds open hours in our computer lab Tuesday-Thursday so that people needing support can look for job listings, work on their resumes, take online courses or complete certifications. Our full-time Employment Specialist is also available to help you with all your job-search needs, from paperwork, to mock interviews, to networking – even just figuring out where to begin! Looking to expand your future opportunities? We can also help prepare you for scholarships, internships, volunteer positions, and other employment opportunities.
Employment Coaching is available by appointment on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 pm
Feel free as well to drop in Tuesday-Thursday from 2-6 pm to use our computer lab. Also keep an eye out for Resource Fairs and other employment-oriented events!
