Our Learn & Raise Program is designed to support young parents of color. We work to help young parents in need build the confidence and tools needed to support their families and themselves.

Learn & Raise is a community-based home visit program for African American and Latinx parents under the age of 24 with children under the age of 5 in King County. The program provides direct support and connections to resources, as well as basic case management via two guaranteed home visits per month. We provide basic supplies like diapers and formula, as well as assistance with resources like healthcare, job opportunities, and housing. Learn & Raise also hosts various workshop series to help our participants find consistent resources that will benefit them and the children they are raising. We also welcome young fathers and families who are learning English. Atlantic Street Center has many community connections; if your family needs an all-Spanish-speaking group, we can help you find that organization.
